Letter from the Executive Director
Happy New Year and greetings on behalf of the entire OCPE
office!
Our uncertain economic times
certainly present a fair share of challenges to all of us. We believe these
challenging times also present unique opportunities for growth and
positive change - either organizationally or personally. All of us in OCPE
stand ready to partner with you, as we have over the past twenty years, to
improve your professional career standing or to assist your organization in
developing new skill sets related to the new technologies and trends that can
transform your business and deliver new innovations to your customers.
We will continue to offer an ever expanding portfolio of workforce
development programs. In direct response to your expressed needs we've recently
added new programs like Business Ethics for the HR Professional, Facility Management Applications of GIS, Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator, Sun Certified Java Programmer and online
classes such as Chartered Tax Professional.
We're extending traditional university programs with
continuous learning solutions, and to better serve you, we've expanded beyond
Mason's campuses to locations near you in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
In addition, we're proud to report that Mason has been
ranked the number one "up-and-coming" national university for 2009 by U.S. News and World
Report.
We're looking forward to making 2009 a banner year for you
through lifelong learning opportunities.
