In February, we issued a broker newsletter to inform you that Coventry Health Care and HCA Health System were negotiating financial terms to extend the HCA hospital contract. At this time, we have not resolved our contractual differences. Therefore, HCA hospitals will not be in the Coventry Health Care network effective April 1, 2012. Please note that this termination only affects HCA hospitals. HCA physicians and free-standing surgery and imaging centers are not affected by this termination.
