Introducing Coventry Consumer ChoiceSM Enhancements New easier-to-read HRA/FSA explanation documents

Coventry Consumer Choice (C3) is pleased to introduce our new HRA/FSA explanation of benefits (EOB) and explanation of payment (EOP). These new documents will be implemented in late August and will match information to medical claims so members and providers can more easily understand the reimbursement and payment processes.
The C3 EOB for members now contains additional information:
- A summary page with an overview of account usage information, including subscriber upfront deductible and individual cap amounts
- The final amount for which the member is responsible after the claim has been processed by the medical plan and C3
- Specific detail for any claim that is affected by an adjustment or overpayment
The C3 EOP for providers includes the following information:
- The provider's internal patient account number to easily apply payments to the correct patient account (if the provider submits this information with their medical claim)
- Specific detail for any claim that is affected by an adjustment or overpayment
