|  Frankly Speaking About Breast Reconstruction with Zol Kryger, MD Date: Monday, October 17, 2011 Time: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm Location: The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361 This workshop will cover the various reconstructive options in simple terms, highlighting the differences between the techniques and the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. Discussion will include information on microsurgical techniques such as the DIEP flap, as well the array of options best suited for each type of patient. A lite dinner will be provided. Featured speaker: Zol Kryger, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in breast reconstruction. He graduated from Stanford Medical School followed by a seven-year residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is the director of breast reconstruction at the Kryger Institute of Plastic Surgery with offices in West Hills and Thousand Oaks. Dr. Kryger performs all types of breast reconstruction including microsurgical techniques. He also serves on the board of the Journal of Microsurgery. Silvana Martino, DO is the director of the Breast Cancer Section at the Angeles Clinic and Research Institute in Santa Monica. Dr. Martino has specialized in the treatment of breast cancer since 1979. This activity is supported by an educational donation provided by Amgen, Inc. and Genentech.
