This workshop will cover the various reconstructive options in simple terms, highlighting the differences between the techniques and the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. Discussion will include information on microsurgical techniques such as the DIEP flap, as well the array of options best suited for each type of patient.  A lite dinner will be provided.

 

Featured speaker: Zol Kryger, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in breast reconstruction. He graduated from Stanford Medical School followed by a seven-year residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is the director of breast reconstruction at the Kryger Institute of Plastic Surgery with offices in West Hills and Thousand Oaks. Dr. Kryger performs all types of breast reconstruction including microsurgical techniques. He also serves on the board of the Journal of Microsurgery.
