    Self-Healing Qigong

    Self-Healing Qigong consists of basic, simple exercises for each organ system of the body. It is a self-regulating technique, similar to self-administered acupressure for a headache. To RSVP please call 818-407-1695.

    Ed Sullivan has practiced massage therapy for over twenty years and has many years of experience teaching energy movement. He is certified in Self-Healing Qigong and Taoist Meditation. Ed is a Qi Development faculty member at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and recently served as the department's Chair.

    Anthony Montella, D.D.S. will present how chemotherapy and radiation therapy affect dental health. This workshop will focus on the importance of oral health for cancer patients, before, during, and after cancer treatment. Dr. Montella earned his Doctor of Dentistry degree from University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Certified beauty professionals provide tips on caring for your skin, hair styling with wigs and accessories, and makeup techniques.     Get in touch with your creative spirit. This workshop encourages self-expression in a safe and nurturing environment. Connect with your imagination and use writing as a tool for expression and stress reduction. Nothing will be judged or critiqued. This is a time to gather with others and play.

    Pamela Stephan is a licensed marriage and family therapist, certified arts therapist, and exhibiting artist herself with 26 years of experience.     Family Drumming Day for Children with Cancer and Their Loved Ones with Brad Anderson

    Join us for a fun-filled music-making program designed especially for kids with cancer, their family members, and friends. Drum circle facilitator Brad Anderson will provide a unique opportunity to create music in the moment using hand drums and percussion instruments. No prior experience is necessary and instruments will be provided.

    Brad Anderson is a teacher, musician and drum circle facilitator specializing in the use of Health Rhythms Protocol, which supports stress relief and wellness through the creative practice of music making. Space is limited. Please RSVP via email or at 805.379.4777
