    Kids Night Out Feb. 26

    The Boys and Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes are hosting a Kids Night Out on February 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Los Cerritos Clubhouse in Thousand Oaks.

    This free event is for children ages 6 to 17 who have or had a parent or grandparent with cancer. Activities include pool tournaments, painting, Wii Bowling and more! Pizza will be served.

    Kids Night Out is a great opportunity for kids to have fun in a safe place, while parents can enjoy a night out together.

    This seminar offers an eclectic approach to managing stress through discussion, hands-on work and take-home activities. Dr. Rockey, a business consultant and professor, has had much experience in helping people deal with life's pressures. As a two-time cancer survivor, he has personally experienced the stresses associated with cancer and related surgeries.

    Cancer Center of Ventura County

    Don't fight colorectal cancer alone! We invite colorectal cancer patients and survivors to attend a free support group in Oxnard on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7pm. The group meets at The Cancer Center of Ventura County at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, 1700 N. Rose Ave, Oxnard, CA 93030.

    Facilitator Maryana Palmer, MFT is a licensed therapist with 30 years of experience working with people affected by cancer.
