The workshop covers new discoveries in cancer treatment, side-effect management and psychosocial aspects of the illness. Monday, September 14, 7:00 - 8:30 pm Laugh the night away as Conejo Valley resident Louis Ashamallah entertains you and your friends at The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura. The ongoing series of Comedy Nights is made possible by the funds raised at the Stand Up for Cancer Survivors fundraiser held in 2008. The highlights of Louis Ashamallah's comedy career include reaching the semi-finals in a national Comedy Central competition, being featured on the Good Day L.A. morning show, and opening for Jay Leno at the Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas for an audience of over 2,000 people. Susan Speer has been developing and teaching programs in health promotion and disease management for more than 30 years in academic and public health settings.
