    Early registration for the Revlon Run/Walk on May 9 has been extended! All registrations through April 27 will be $30.

    You can join the fight against women's cancers and support The Wellness Community by joining TEAM 110. Even if you can't make it on May 9, your registration helps!

    Breast Cancer Connection: Couples Talk About Intimacy

    This workshop addresses intimacy issues of couples living with breast cancer. A short video followed by an interactive discussion will be facilitated by TWC Associate Program Director, Jodi Mcintosh. This event is for women with breast cancer and their partners.

    Finding the Courage to Keep Living After a Cancer Diagnosis

    Rabbi Edward Feinstein, spiritual leader and cancer survivor, discusses the resources we call upon - personal, communal and spiritual - to find the courage to fight cancer and maintain a meaningful and satisfying life.

    A sage once taught: "Everyday, God rains healing onto the world. The problem is, not everyone owns a bucket." Finding and drawing from the wells of inner strength has much to do with health, well-being and the ability to live with cancer. Rabbi Feinstein is the senior rabbi of Valley Beth Shalom in Encino.

    Marc Botnick, MD, Medical Director of the Sherman Oaks Radiation Therapy Center, will speak about prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment options.

    Dr. Botnick received his Medical Degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience with utilizing IMRT, Image Guided Radiation Therapy, and permanent radioactive seed implants in the treatment of prostate malignancies.

    Book Drive Update

    We are still collecting books for our upcoming Book Sale!

    You can make a difference simply by dropping your new or used books at The Wellness Community, any time between 9am and 5pm during the week. The last day to drop books is May 10. Donors will receive a receipt for tax deduction.

    Special thanks to the PODS company for donating the storage space for the books.
