Wish Lists and Library Cards
| Save time by placing an order for pickup! Tell us your theme, and we'll select the best books, music,
and DVDs for your class. Early childhood facilities with business Library cards
may request up to 15 items to be pulled in advance and set aside for check out.
Teachers in elementary schools may receive teacher book bag service.
 Don't have
a library card? Skokie preschool and child care center directors may register
for a free business Library
card for each of their teachers by submitting, on company letterhead, a
written statement of authorization that lists each teacher to have a Library
card. Home child care providers may register for a business Library card by
showing two forms of identification with address and their child care license.
Please renew your account at the beginning of each school year by providing an
updated list of staff members.

Library Visits
| As you plan your excursions for the year, schedule a field trip to the Library for your class. A librarian will treat your students to an interactive storytime and tour. The children will also enjoy playtime in our preschool area. Alternatively, a librarian can bring a half-hour storytime to your school. Librarian Carolyn Thompson, who regularly leads baby and toddler storytime at the Library, is available to bring stories and songs to your youngest students.
