Congratulations Cass Tech Alumni!
 
Based on information I received on August 1, 2008 from Principal Ashford, the devastating cuts in teacher positions that had been cut has been restored.
Principal Ashford stated very clearly that the response from members of the Cass family, especially Cass Tech alumni with the E-blast, was successful!  This canceled out what could have been a catastrophic blow to Cass Tech's ability to provide quality education to its students.

Thanks again for your responses Cass Tech Association.

Well family, WE DID IT!!!  We are one of finalists in the BEST HIGH SCHOOL category.  Our voting day is on August 20th.  So let's vote like never before!  Of course, you will be reminded on that day. (smile)

Johnson ('93) would like to thank ALL of you who voted for him as the BEST COMMUNITY LEADER.  He made it as one of the finalist!  We also have another fellow CT alum who made it as a finalist in the same category.  Her name is Donna Murray ('83).  You will be able to vote for the BEST COMMUNITY LEADER on August 26th.  And as usual, we will remind and provide you with both finalists information.
