Barbara Granger (formerly Barbara Chalker) attended Cass for almost four years.
She was scheduled to graduate in the summer of 1972. But, as life would have it, her dream to graduate from Cass was derailed by different family situations.
Yet, Barbara still cherishes her times at Cass and the knowledge, incorporated with the life lessons she learned. She is especially thankful for the co-op program at Cass, which afforded her the opportunity to begin her career in the corporate world. So much so, when a friend forwarded her a copy of a recent Green Scene she contacted CTAA, wanting to contribute financially to help others the way she was helped. Barbara and her husband, Jeff Granger, (shown in photo) recently contributed a very sizeable check for CTAA's co-op program.
Jeff and Barbara, married for over twenty years, have two sons, Matt and Jeffery. Though corporate executives, Jeff and Barbara yearned to become business owners and were steadfast in following that dream.
Barbara also credits Cass, because of the variety of curriculums offered, with sowing the seeds of the entrepreneurial spirit within her. Currently, Jeff and Barbara own a large e-commerce business, which produces a passive income that allowed them to retire from their jobs at the ripe young ages of 43 and 48. They now spend their time helping others develop their businesses and are able to spend more time with their family and travel across the country.
Barbara thanks Cass for helping to shape and directionalize her life, and giving her the ability to recognize and capture a wonderful husband like Jeff. She feels, though she was almost an alumni she will always be a Technician because Cass is a spirit that lives within you, always. |

DISCOUNTS AND FANTASTIC RATES
A PORTION OF COMMISSIONS GO TO CTAA
Just think; you could be outstretched on a sunny beach, tropical breeze blowing into your face, in hand, you have your favorite drink with a small umbrella, while at the same time helping needy Cass students.
Besides saving money, the best thing about the CTAA travel agency is you don't have to be a Technician or an alumni member to use it.
Anyone can book on CTAA Travel.
So the more people you tell about CTAA travel, the more we can help needy students, provide scholarships and support various curriculums at Cass Tech.
A special thank you goes out to Irozenell Pruitt. She volunteered to be the CTAA travel coordinator.
