CTAA is in need of a volunteer Travel Coordinator.
This person needs to be willing to take on the responsibility of using the marketing program designed to communicate with members to encourage support of the CTAA Travel Web site. (Programs include free full-color marketing materials to be used in mail-outs, flyers for tables at events, posters, and email campaign.)
The Travel Coordinator would also work with the CTAA Communications department for mail-out and email schedules; coordinate group travel with dedicated travel consultant from YTB to sponsor group golf outings, cruises, senior trips, reunions, couples events, etc; market events to the members through existing channels of communication; work closely with each reunion committee to arrange their travel through our program; send out weekly email travel newsletter provided by YTB to our database and be present at all events where CTAA is represented to promote the travel website and upcoming group travel events.
No experience is necessary. This position would be a non-paying volunteer position. Benefit to Travel Coordinator will be the use of travel agent credentials, entitling them to receive industry perks and discounts when they travel. They will also be eligible to travel for free with organized groups (taxes and tips not included). If you love to travel and you have the time, this could be your way to help CTAA and reduce your personal travel costs significantly!"

Just think; you could be outstretched on a sunny beach, tropical breeze blowing into your face, in hand, you have your favorite drink with a small umbrella, while at the same time helping needy Cass students.
Besides saving money, the best thing about the CTAA travel agency is you don't have to be a Technician or an alumni member to use it.
Anyone can book on CTAA Travel.
So the more people you tell about CTAA travel, the more we can help needy students, provide scholarships and support various curriculums at Cass Tech. |

| ENTECHPRENEURIAL ADVICE |
More and more people are having the same experience: They are involved in a collision that is not their fault. But, rather than fixing their car, the insurer declares it is " totaled." The insurance company pays what it claims is the fair market value of the car and tows it away. However, many people like the car they have and do not want to take a chance with another one. Other people feel they are not being offered a fair price by the insurer.
Do these people have any rights? When you buy insurance, you sign a contract with the insurer. These contracts always provide that the insurer does not have to pay to repair a car when the repairs will cost more than the car is worth. Therefore, the insurer does have the right to " total" your car in such a case. Depending on the age and the condition of the car, even a relatively small amount of damage may result in the car's being totaled. However, if you really want to keep your car and have it repaired, most insurers will allow you to do so. If you do, the insurer has the right to deduct the salvage value of the car from what you are paid.
Also, you do have the right to be paid for the actual value of your car, which means the insurer should pay you what your car is actually worth. If you and the insurer disagree about its value, it may be worthwhile to have the car appraised and present the appraisal to the insurer to try to convince it to pay more.
If all else fails, you can hire a lawyer, although you will have to decide whether the difference in values is enough to make it worth your while to hire a lawyer to represent you.
The above is not the viewpoint nor advice from CTAA. The information was supplied by:
