New Principal Has Great Plans For Cass Tech! Ms. Lenora Ashford, CT’s new Principal, served as the Science Department Head for several years, and most recently as a VP at CT. CTAA Board members, President Larry Patrick, Chairman Ray Litt, and former Dir. of Marketing & Public Relations Stephanie L. Jones, along with alum Blain Denning, had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Ashford to hear her plans for CT’s future. Here are some key areas that Ms. Ashford would like to focus on:

  • Bring back the technical aspect to the curriculum
  • Bring in an alternative energy program
  • Bring in new software and technology
  • Improve the athletics department
  • Address physical building problems

The CTAA has pledged its support to help our new leader!! If you would like to help in any of these areas, please contact Marquita Tharpe at the CTAA office, 313.263.2101 or marquitatharpe@casstechalumni.org.
