HOT GUY CONFUSES BALLET GIRL 

Attention Naked Readers:

So, there is a really hot guy in several of my classes this semester. I sit near him in all of them, and have tried to start up conversations with him, but always get flustered and nervous because I am afraid of saying something stupid. In the past few days, whenever he walks into the classroom, he'll smile and wink at me and say "Hey." And just two days ago, he gave me a nickname. The name he called me is "Ballet Girl," because he had overheard me studying for a ballet exam earlier in the day. I am confused for three reasons. One, I can't tell if he is flirting or just being nice. Two, I'm pretty sure he has a girlfriend (heard this from a friend who knows the guy pretty well). And three, this guy is about 4 years older than me (finding this out shocked me at first... he does NOT look older than I am). I don't want to get the signals wrong, because that could cause some major drama/ embarrassment. Can someone help me get a clue as to whether or not he's flirting? And should I flirt back?
