Passive Aggressive Religious Roommate Is Getting More and More Agressive
Hi Everyone,
I'm at a loss as to what to do with my roommate. I knew when she moved in that she was very religious. I was fine with that. I started watching my language, what media I was listening to or watching, and who I had in the room as not to offend her and things worked out pretty well.
Long story short: She has gone home every weekend since the first week of school. I have my boyfriend over every weekend because he lives an hour away and I don't see him at all during the week. This one particular weekend, she is staying but doesn't mention it. She isn't there at midnight, so I figure she's gone like usual. We go to bed (fully clothed, mind you. Not doing anything that would offend the average public American college student.) She comes back, drops her stuff, and stomps out. We realize she isn't going home so we leave. Rather than saying she was offended, she "un-friended" me on Facebook, hasn't spoken to me in two weeks, and talks smack about me. I'm an adult. I would have apologized, but she has been so passive-aggressive since that I just feel like she doesn't deserve an apology. She's leaving next semester, but I was sort of hoping she would bail and pay for a single room elsewhere. I admit that this was my fault, but it seems to me like she's making a mountain from a molehill. Any thoughts? Should I apologize or ignore her until she leaves? I don't feel that I'm missing out on any titillating conversation by not talking to her, but it's like I'm living with a ticked off ex.
