HELP ME, HARLAN! STEALING BEST FRIEND'S LOVE INTEREST IS THE PERFECT WAY TO LOSE A FRIENDSHIP

Dear Harlan,
I have a major problem involving love (well, more "like"). I met this guy about a week ago through a friend, and we have pretty much hung out together with a few other friends every night since then. I have fallen hard for him. Everything about him just makes me feel like he could be the one. The problem is the fact that the girl who introduced us is my best friend, and she has feelings for the guy, too. I also have been told that he shares those feelings for her, but I am a pretty good judge of body language and don't know what to think anymore. Normally I would just back off, but I've never liked a guy this much before. This is the real "can't eat, can't sleep, I always got him on my mind" thing. I really need advice! I am even starting to feel resentment toward my best friend whenever she is with him, and I do not want to let that happen because I absolutely love her and do not want to fight over a guy. Help me, Harlan!
Mindless in Like
Dear Mindless,
Have you considered spending a year abroad in China? There you'll find 1.3 billion people. This will give you access to millions of single boys who aren't your best friend's love interest. Or you can explore the millions of options in the United States. Once you get hungry enough and tired enough, you'll see that there are other options. Here's the deal - never mess with a good friend's love interest. This includes boyfriends, fiances, husbands. She introduced you to him because she trusts you. Wait until things fall apart or she loses interest. If you don't want to fight over a guy, don't. In the meantime, consider a trip to Asia if you can't stop obsessing.
