I have a question about Facebook friends. I just got out of high school and I noticed that quite a few people are defriending me. What does it mean when people defriend you on Facebook? I know my feelings shouldn't be hurt because people defriend me, but I just wanted to know what tip you might have about defriending on Facebook when high-school friends graduate and become college acquaintances.

The truth? The only thing you had in common with these people was high school. Now that high school is over, you have nothing in common. You were never really real friends. If you were real friends, you could ask these friends why you're no longer Facebook friends when you hang out together (something real friends do). Then you could find out the truth from your friends - your Farmville updates and endless requests to have them join the "Add a Super Unlike Button" group made you unfriendable.As for all these people who defriended you, trust that you'll reconnect with them in the future. Give it 10 years. Then you can look at each other's pictures, see who has hit it big, see who's gotten big and renew "friendships" with people who were never really your friends.
