KIPP Austin College Prep students have worked hard all year long and it shows in the results of the April Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills testing. Students at our middle school, which consists of fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades, took the TAKS test in April. The results were outstanding for the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, who scored 90% or higher on every single test. Our students are proving that the KIPP formula for success and excellence is indeed working. On four TAKS tests, 100% of our students met the standard - eighth grade reading, eighth grade social studies, eighth grade science and seventh grade writing. This is the second consecutive year that our seventh graders have scored 100% on the writing TAKS.
