My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name. His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty. FROM THE CLASSROOM TO THE WORLD
Dayton, Ohio
In the United States the Marianist Sisters work to educate youth and young adults in the areas of faith and social justice. Whether it is in a formal classroom, a workshop, retreat, or gathering at the Sisters' homes, the Sisters educate in order to bring about a more just society.
Chaminade Julienne is a Marianist High School in the inner city of Dayton, Ohio with a very diverse population. There are students there who come from privileged backgrounds. However, there are many others who are in need financial assistance and who struggle to make ends meet. The challenge of the educator there is to reach all students - helping each student recognize his or her dignity, the dignity of others, and the responsibility we all share for one another.

Espa�ol: DESDE EL AULA PARA EL MUNDO
En los Estados Unidos las Hermanas Marianistas trabajan para educar a los j�venes y adultos j�venes en los �mbitos de la fe y la justicia social. Ya sea en un aula formal, un taller, un retiro, o una reuni�n en casa de las hermanas, las hermanas educar con el fin de lograr una sociedad m�s justa.
El colegio marianista de alta en la ciudad de Dayton, Ohio interior, Chaminade Julienne, tiene una poblaci�n muy diversa. Hay estudiantes que vienen de all� favorecidos. Le marianiste lyc�e dans la ville de Dayton, dans l'Ohio int�rieure, Chaminade Julienne, a une population tr�s diversifi�e. Il ya des �tudiants l�-bas qui viennent de milieux privil�gi�s. Cependant, il ya beaucoup d'autres qui sont ont besoin d'aide financi�re et qui luttent pour joindre les deux bouts. Le d�fi de l'�ducateur qu'il ya � rejoindre tous les �l�ves - aider chaque �l�ve � reconna�tre sa dignit�, la dignit� d'autrui, et la responsabilit� que nous partageons tous un pour l'autre.
