Proclama mi alma la grandeza del Se�or, se alegra mi esp�ritu en Dios mi Salvador, porque ha mirado la humillaci�n de su esclava.
 
Desde ahora me felicitar�n todas las generaciones porque el Poderoso ha hecho obras grandes por m�. Su nombre es Santo y su misericordia llega a sus fieles de generaci�n en generaci�n.
 
�l hace proezas con su brazo, dispersa a los soberbios de coraz�n. Derriba del trono a los poderosos y enaltece a los humildes. A los hambrientos los colma de bienes y a los ricos despide vac�os.
 
Auxilia a Israel su siervo, acord�ndose de su santa alianza seg�n lo hab�a prometido a nuestros padres en favor de Abrah�n y su
descendencia por siempre.
 
Gloria al Padre y al Hijo y al Esp�ritu Santo como era en principio ahora y siempre por los siglos de los siglos.

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant.
 
Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
 
His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
 
He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their
hearts.
 
He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty.
 
He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, according to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.

No puede uno acercarse al P. Chaminade sin que le sorprenda el ascendiente que ejerce sobre los que le rodean. Su irradiaci�n en Mussidan, Burdeos y m�s all� es incuestionable. Son muchos los que en contacto con �l beben la renovaci�n o la confirmaci�n de sus compromisos de vida cristiana. Lo que es particularmente notable, es la variedad de estas personas: obreros, estudiantes, intelectuales, gente del pueblo; j�venes, adultos o mayores; hombres o mujeres; laicos, religiosos o cl�rigos... Parece que todo el mundo encuentra un mensaje a su alcance y para su bien.

One cannot approach Father Chaminade without being struck by the influence he has on those around him.  His impact on Mussidan, Bordeaux and beyond is undeniable. Many persons draw from their contact with him a renewal or confirmation of their commitment to Christian life. What is most remarkable is the variety of people: workers, students, intellectuals, common people; youth, adults and seniors; men and women; lay, religious and clerics ...  It seems everyone finds a message at his/her level and for his/her good.

On ne peut approcher le P. Chaminade sans �tre frapp� par l'ascendant qu'il exerce sur ceux qui l'entourent. Son rayonnement � Mussidan, Bordeaux et au-del� est incontestable. Beaucoup puisent � son contact le renouveau ou la confirmation de leurs engagements de vie chr�tienne. Ce qui est particuli�rement remarquable, c'est la vari�t� de ces personnes : ouvriers, �tudiants, intellectuels, personnes du peuple ; jeunes, adultes ou a�n�s ; hommes ou femmes ; la�cs, religieux ou clercs ... Il semble que chacun trouve un message � sa port�e et pour son bien.
