Proclama mi alma la grandeza del Se�or, se alegra mi esp�ritu en Dios mi Salvador, porque ha mirado la humillaci�n de su esclava. Desde ahora me felicitar�n todas las generaciones porque el Poderoso ha hecho obras grandes por m�. Su nombre es Santo y su misericordia llega a sus fieles de generaci�n en generaci�n. �l hace proezas con su brazo, dispersa a los soberbios de coraz�n. Derriba del trono a los poderosos y enaltece a los humildes. A los hambrientos los colma de bienes y a los ricos despide vac�os. Auxilia a Israel su siervo, acord�ndose de su santa alianza seg�n lo hab�a prometido a nuestros padres en favor de Abrah�n y su descendencia por siempre. Magnificat English
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant.
Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their
hearts.
He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty.
He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, according to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.

Chaminade no es un te�logo de profesi�n. Es un hombre de acci�n, un pastor de almas. Aunque no elabor� una Mariolog�a o una Eclesiolog�a, tiene sin duda una propuesta eclesial, �ntimamente conectada con su propuesta mariana. Es el fruto de su experiencia mariana y eclesial durante m�s de cuarenta a�os. En esa experiencia, Chaminade ve la Iglesia a la luz de Mar�a, pero tambi�n Mar�a aparece ligada al misterio de Cristo y de la Iglesia.

A MARIAN AND MISSIONARY CHURCH
Father Chaminade was not a theologian by profession. He was a man of action, a pastor of souls. Even if he did not specifically articulate a Mariology or an ecclesiology, he certainly had definite ideas about church, intimately linked to his ideas about Mary. These were the fruit of his Marian and ecclesial experience of more than forty years. Through that experience, Chaminade saw the Church in the light of Mary, but Mary herself seemed to him also linked to the mystery of Christ and the Church.

Chaminade n'est pas un th�ologien de profession. Il est homme d'action, pasteur d'�mes. M�me s'il n'a pas �labor� sp�cifiquement une mariologie ou une eccl�siologie, il poss�de sans aucun doute une proposition eccl�siale, intimement li�e avec sa proposition mariale. C'est le fruit de son exp�rience mariale et eccl�siale durant plus de quarante ans. En cette exp�rience, Chaminade voit l'Eglise � la lumi�re de Marie, mais Marie appara�t elle aussi li�e au myst�re du Christ et de l'Eglise.
