About our Market Partners
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the partner for our Saturday morning market at its new Howe Meadow location. Established in 1974 as a National Recreation Area, the park received National Park status in 2000. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is also Countryside Conservancy's partner for the Countryside Initiative program, which offers long-term leases of farms within the National Park boundaries.

| Dear Market Supporter,
Happy New Year!
I hope all of you had a really wonderful holiday season, complete with delicious and not-too-hectic celebrations. We are looking forward to celebrating the kick-off of the 2012 farmers' market season with you this Saturday at Old Trail School. Among many other wonderful things, there will be lots of veggies to be had to help us all move past the holiday indulgence frenzy!
To help us celebrate and to give thanks to all of our supporters, we will be holding a raffle drawing on Saturday at 8:45 A.M. (when you are all gathered in the lobby anxiously awaiting the starting bell!) Anyone who became one of our "Peeps" during our fall campaign at the $30 level was entered into the drawing, and for every additional $30 increment another ticket was entered. The winner will receive $625 in market tokens. The tokens will be distributed in $25 increments over the winner's choice of 25 markets throughout 2012. Come out to see if you are the lucky winner - We are truly grateful for everyone who became part of our flock! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We are all busy working on putting together the 2012 summer market season: current vendors are sending us their updated product lists, and applications to become a new vendor are being finalized and will become available in early February. To help us plan better and to find out what you want at your farmers' market, we hope you will take a few moments to share your thoughts with us. We love hearing your feedback - both about what we do well and what we could do better. Thanks in advance!
Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!!
See you at the Market,
Beth Knorr
Market Manager
