About our Market Partners

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the partner for our Saturday morning market at its new Howe Meadow location.  Established in 1974 as a National Recreation Area, the park received National Park status in 2000.  Cuyahoga Valley National Park is also Countryside Conservancy's partner for the Countryside Initiative program, which offers long-term leases of farms within the National Park boundaries.  For more information on Cuyahoga Valley National Park visit their website.  For more information on the Countryside Initiative click here.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is the partner and host of our Thursday evening market.  Stan Hywet is the historic country estate of F.A. and Gertrude Seiberling.  Built between 1912 and 1915, the 65 room Manor House and grounds are available to the public in keeping with the Seiberling crest motto "Non Nobus Solum" or "Not for us Alone."  For more information on this magnificent museum and its gardens visit their website at Stan Hywet.

Dear Market Supporter,

The sun is shining and the birds are singing!  And coincidentally (a fortuitous coincidence, indeed) it officially turns spring on Saturday. Can you think of a better reason to get outside and get to the market than to welcome its arrival?

By the way, there are only two more markets to get your "$25 for 25" Raffle tickets.  The drawing will be held at the April market, so be sure to get yours either this Saturday or before 11:30 am on April 17.

See You at the Market-

In need of lamb for your Easter feast?  Great American Lamb Company will be joining us this Saturday, so you can get your fresh, local lamb.  Spice of Life Catering will be cooking up some tasty sandwiches using the lamb, so you can try before you buy.

Are things a little dull in your kitchen lately?  Kevin Noon is ready to sharpen your knives! Drop them off and they'll be ready when you're done shopping.  Klimo's Family Farm will have dahlia bulbs available- make your garden smile!  And, to help out with your garden irrigation, we have Hinckley Boy Scout Troop 520 joining us with rain barrels. They'll be bringing bird houses, too.
