cars. It is a response driven system. Converge MidAmerica provides ongoing support for pastors, church planters and lay leaders. Everyday we respond to calls for help, advice and direction from our churches and their leaders. Because the majority of these calls are confidential, dealing in the realm of legal, financial and personnel they are not something we broadcast but we simply serve our churches in this responsive way.
Yet having a response system is just one of the ways we serve our churches. We also have proactive ways we serve our pastors, their families and their churches.
- Minister's Assistant Program (MAP) is an anonymous counseling program for all our pastors and their families. When a pastor or family member gets overwhelmed with life issues where do they go? The MAP program is a safe, shame free environment.
- Natural Church Development Consulting is a proactive way for a church to measure the qualitative health of the ministry. The Natural Church Development Survey is one of the best ways to measure the attitudes, feelings, and perspectives your key leaders have towards the people, personnel and the progress of the church.
- Senior Pastor Coaching Groups launched 18 months ago with great success. These groups of six to ten pastors gather six times a year for a full day of leadership and peer-to-peer coaching.
- Senior Pastor Search Services is a new way of assisting our churches in finding a new senior pastor. It is based on an executive search model where our Converge MidAmerica staff assists in recruiting, reviewing, referencing and vetting all the candidates for a local church. We have successfully completed two searches for our churches so far.
- Capital Campaign Coaching is an effort to help our newer churches do their first capital campaign so that they can be poised to purchase their first building. We have written our materials based on the latest research in conducting capital campaigns in a local church. Currently 4 churches have chosen to be apart of our pilot group.
Whether it is a rapid response approach or a proactive approach, it is the desire of Converge MidAmerica to serve our churches new or old, large or small for the glory of God and the advancement of the Gospel.
Thank you for your partnership,
Gary Rohrmayer

Ministry Positions:
Senior Pastor
Grace Missionary Baptist Church
Markham, IL
The next Senior Pastor should be a leader who models an authentic walk with God and lives with a passion to reach this community. The history of this church has included many stories of how God's grace, shared through the ministries and people of this church has been life-changing. Yet as you visit and meet the people who are a part of Grace Church, there is a vision of even greater outreach and impact for the future. The church desires a senior pastor to lead the congregation in continuing to build on Grace's commitment of faith. Hebrews begins, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. "God has blessed all of us with the vision to build the ministry here at Grace. We are ever mindful that faith is the foundation on which Grace is built. John Mac Arthur writes, "People of faith obey, worship, endure, sacrifice and work by faith." We obey because we are committed to the mission of Jesus Christ, to share the Word of God with a dying world.
