Grade 5's Circus Burrzircus
Coming to Burr on December 23rd!

 Fifth graders will exhibit their circus artwork in the cafetorium; the exhibit hours are 8 - 12 on December 23 only.
The
circus gymnastics performance will take place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in
the gym. All students will attend the performance with their classes.
Due to limited space, only families of 5th grade students are invited
to the gymnastics performance. The entire Burr community is encouraged
to visit our art exhibit!

Burr / Williams Clothing Drive - COMPLETE!

 Our school psychologist, Julie Gold,
wishes to thank all the Burr and Williams families who generously
contributed to the recent clothing drive. Though we thought we would
run the clothing drive through January, Dr. Gold has already received
more than
enough goods for the families she has identified in need between the
two schools. For those who are looking for an alternative depository
for winter coats only, Newton City Hall has a donations box for The
Second Step (transitional shelter for women & children of domestic
violence here in Newton) until Dec. 30. Again, many thanks for
everyone's generosity! |
