"When I went to camp, I met people with cancer just like me. For the first time,
I was not alone. Camp to me is like family and another home."

Spring Break at CTL
College students spent spring break lending a helping hand at CTL-Will-A-Way

Camp Twin Lakes-Will-A-Way was recently joined by alternative spring break groups from the University of Akron and Push America. During their week at CTL-Will-A-Way, the groups worked on the stage construction in the gym, water sealed the amphitheater and fishing dock, painted the Fort Yargo State Park putt putt golf course , painted benches, cleaned cabins, cleared brush from around the lake, and painted decorations for dances at camp this summer!

These groups worked incredibly hard, and we are so grateful that they chose to spend their spring break helping make camp beautiful! Th
ank you!

Camp Twin Lakes is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational camp programs for children and young adults facing serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges. We collaborate with more than 50 different organizations, our Camp Partners, each serving a different population to create customized programs that teach our campers to overcome obstacles and grow in their confidence and capabilities. Camp Twin Lakes is thrilled to provide these life-changing programs at its state-of-the-art, medically-supportive, fully-accessible camps in Rutledge, Winder, and Warm Springs, Georgia; children's hospitals; and other locations throughout the state.
