Thanks for taking the time to peruse another OraMedia Newsletter!

As summer approaches and outdoor activities take up more and more of our time, I urge you to keep your thoughts on oral hygiene. We'll all be at outings, picnics, sporting events, etc. and not as near the bathroom sink as we have been. A few tips might be helpful while we are away from home...

• Keep a spare toothbrush in your car or purse
• An extra package of floss is small enough to go with it
• If you need a dentifrice to brush with, pack a handy 2oz. bottle of Nara Cleansing Powder for extra cleaning and fresher breath
• Keep a bottle of water handy for rinsing & swishing after eating. It may not be as good as the irrigator at home, but is far better than not doing it at all

These are little habits which are good ones to adopt. Keep in mind that, on average, harmful bacterial growth doubles every 4.8 hours. That's exponentially, by the way.

Keep your mouth clean and healthy this summer and odds are that you won't experience the sound of the drill and the sight of the bill come fall.

Fluoride had been used, of course, in the 'prevention' of dental cavities; applied directly to the teeth, added to our municipal waters, our bottled water, our foods...

The ViaJet runs on 110 volts. This means that if your country's electrical system uses 220v or 240v or anything other than 110v, you'll need a voltage step-down converter which 'steps-down' the voltage to 110v so that the device will operate. This does not mean that a little 'plug adapter' will do the job, although you may need one of them as well.
