Welcome to another OraMedia Newsletter and thanks again for your patience.

You'll see another great article from Sheila 'Mama Gums' Wolf in this issue and I'd like to let you know that if you have questions about your dental treatment and really need some help, Sheila does personal and phone consultations.  Visit her site: MamaGums.com

drinks Drinks That Eat Teeth

What's your pleasure?  Coke?  Pepsi? Tea?

Here's a chart which covers a good many common drinks, most of which list the pH, sugar & caffeine levels as well as calorie content.  For the most part, and for other reasons, we settled on straight water a long time ago but you can check out what you or your kids are drinking.  You might want to make some changes when taking into consideration their oral health (and your wallet).

Please keep in mind that the purpose of this chart is to give an idea of enamel demineralization based on the pH, or acidity, of the drink. It does not take into account (although it is listed) the sugar content of the drink which would feed any oral pathogens present - creating further acidity and decay.
