Greetings!
We would like to take this time to wish you the happiest and healthiest New Year from the entire staff of Bauman Medical Group. It has been a distinct pleasure providing you, our patients, clients and friends, the highest quality care we can possibly deliver and sharing with you the very latest innovations and advancements in our field.
Whew! 2009 was a very exciting year for Bauman Medical as we (finally) completed our major expansion project-which will enable us to serve our patients better for many years to come. We also witnessed incredible breakthroughs in medical technology and treatments like FDA-approved Latisse for eyelash growth, Zerona non-invasive body-slimming, minimally-invasive NeoGraft/FUE Hair Transplants, eyelash transplant advancements, price-reductions on portable laser therapy devices like the Erchonia THL-1 and more--all of which have our patients coming back again and again with rave reviews.
2009 also saw a dramatic increase in hair transplant patient-education on various social networks, including Facebook and Twitter. YouTube personalities Greg Benson and Kevin 'Nalts' Nalty filmed their hair transplant procedures for all the world to see, and participated in milestones such as the largest online attendance for any LIVE hair transplant webcast, the largest NeoGraft surgery ever performed, and we hosted the first ever NeoGraft Live Surgery Workshop for physicians.
This year also saw the launch of new social networks like Ning's The Zerona Network, Women's Hair Loss Support Group, The Neograft Hair Transplant Network and LinkedIn's "Into Thin Hair," which all took their fledgling 'first steps' in 2009.
Offline, the traditional media (like Rachael Ray, The Doctors, ABC, NBC and FOX) focused on Genetic Hair Loss Testing underscoring the need for early intervention for hair loss, Zerona--the liposuction alternative, NeoGraft minimally-invasive hair transplants, and the controversial off-label use of Allergan's Latisse/Bimatoprost on the scalp to name a few...
What's next for 2010? New diagnostics...? New treatments...? I'm looking forward to your guesses... you can 'tweet' them directly to @DrAlanBauman or email them to me at doctorb@baumanmedical.com!
Until then, have a safe and happy New Year! May you achieve all of your personal goals in 2010--not just the hair restoration ones!
Best Wishes,
Alan J. Bauman M.D.

 What are the benefits of
No-Scalpel / No-Stitch FUE with NeoGraft?
You don't have to be a celebrity to enjoy the benefits of FUE. FUE-type transplants leave absolutely NO LINEAR SCAR and have a quicker, more comfortable recovery. Short haircuts are possible after the procedure since there's no 'tell-tale' linear scar. There are no stitches and restrictions on physical activities are minimal during the healing phase.
NeoGraft/FUE procedures can be used to effectively camouflage scars left behind from previous procedures and also to touch-up, refine or repair the results of prior techniques.

Linear Scar...? NeoGraft it!
Camouflage a Previous Scar with FUE/NeoGraft
Do you have an old scar from a previous hair transplant? Do you want to wear your hair shorter but worried about the scar showing? A small FUE procedure can be used to camouflage your old scar. Convenient scheduling and courtesy pricing is available for these smaller FUE cases so contact the office today for an estimate. Email Linda ( concierge@baumanmedical.com) or call 561-394-0024 for more infomation on FUE scar repair/camouflage.

"No-Touch" Implantation Now Possible with NeoGraft
In addition to making the harvesting of FUE grafts more efficient and accurate, the NeoGraft device also features an implantation handpiece which minimizes the manipulation of the grafts during the transplant process. Watch the video of the implantation (if you're not squeamish about those things) to see how it works.
