Week of Feb 6, 2012
Chaplain's Office Logo

Wow, what a great weekend! The 2nd Annual Interfaith Engagement Weekend brought people together from across Yale for series of bursting-at-the-seams events.  Thanks to all of the students who made the weekend such a success!

There are a lot of great events in this week's newsletter. Highlights? Two new programs from the Chaplain's Office, Islamic Awareness Week, a healthy dose of sex, an anti-trafficking concert, theological approaches to environmentalism, and more.

A word about sex: We've heard it all before.  Of the 30 or so religious professionals working on campus, there are 30 different viewpoints on the matter.  If talking to a chaplain about relationships, intimate or otherwise, seems terrifying, it's not.  Ask one this week about how to build a healthy relationship (intimate or otherwise). See, that wasn't so difficult. Isn't talking to adults fun?!

If you're looking for a religious or spiritual group on campus, take a look at this list or come talk to one of the staff in the Chaplain's Office.

Have a great week everyone !

Information about "Not For Sale" and how you can get involved will be available that evening. For more information: katie.byrnes@yale.edu.
