Vision
When people come together bound by the spirit of Christ, a shared commitment, and great love for one another, extraordinary things happen.
Solomon said, "Two are better than one" and " A cord of three
strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12
Jesus said, "Again, I will tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:19, 20
In keeping with these precepts, small groups of men and women, from every nation and every aspect of society, find the better way for everyday living through obedience and faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through the inspiration of this gathering, the Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast hopes to encourage each participant to be a part of a small group that cultivates growth and facilitates positive change
to create God-centered communities.
Past leaders of our Nation have turned to Almighty God for strength and guidance. In this spirit, the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, which meet to pray together, inaugurated the
National Prayer Breakfast to specifically seek the Lord's guidance and strength as well as to reaffirm our faith and to renew the dedication of our Nation to God and His purpose.
Our Eighth Prayer Breakfast in Vero Beach, like many of those in fifty states, will meet to seek the Lord's direction and guidance and to recognize our privileges and responsibilities before God.
Today we are linked to other communities that share our same desire: to deepen the spiritual life and strengthen the moral fiber of our communities. All across the country, people are gathering. Similar breakfasts, inaugurated by governors, mayors and other God fearing citizens, are finding through the fellowship of Jesus Christ we can build strong communities.
