Dear Colleagues,

 

Effective immediately, there will be a change in the Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models offered through the Joint Administrative Computing Standards Program to reflect the introduction of new products by Apple that were announced yesterday.

 

Starting today, June 12, Apple will transition the standard bundles it offers to UCSF and UC Berkeley for the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air to offer the new products.  As Apple transitions to the new items, our discounts, $100 on the MacBook Pro and $75 on the MacBook Air, will be temporarily unavailable for 24-48 hours.

 

At UCSF, the Apple quick-order MacBook Pro and MacBook Air configurations may be temporarily unavailable during the transition. Quick-order is available only for the base configurations. Upgrades requests must be processed through the Apple Store link in BearBuy.  We will notify you when the discounts have been restored.

 

The new configurations are:

There were no changes announced to the iMac line, and our current standard bundles will remain in place and available at this time.
