NEW LAW:

Party Hosts now Responsible

for Underage Drinking

As the holiday season approaches, many of us will be hosting and/or attending parties and events to celebrate with friends and family. More than likely, if your gatherings are anything like mine, there will be alcoholic beverages available.

As we all know, the legal drinking age in California in 21 years old. However, at a party with family or friends, it isn't out of the realm of possibility for a minor to be furnished with an alcoholic beverage. I certainly remember my father offering me a beer to drink before I turned 21

But a new California law should give us pause before we think about doing this.  CLICK HERE to learn more.

Contact me to let me know what issues are important to you so I can address them in upcoming newsletters.

Here's a fun and festive drink recipe to serve your underage party guests.

2 oz. Cranberry Juice
1/2 tsp. Lime Juice
Club Soda

Add juices to ice-filled tall glass.  Top with club soda and stir.  Garnish with a twist of lime.  Enjoy.

All the best and keep safe,
