Rental Car Insurance

When you need it and when you don't.

It's happened to all of us.  You are on vacation or a business trip.  You step up to the rental car counter to pick up your car.  The sales person asks, "Do you want to purchase insurance coverage for your rental car?"  You don't want to pay for coverage you may already have.  But, you don't want to take that risk if you are not sure if you are covered.  What do you do?

In many instances, your own automobile insurance policy may provide coverage when you are driving a rental car.  Also, certain credit cards offer protection when used to pay for a rental car.

However, auto insurance policies and credit card terms can vary.  That's why it's important to review  your insurance policy and know your credit card terms, before you rent a car.  If you still have questions, call your insurance company or credit card provider to get more details. Click here for more information.  You can also call me for information. That way, when driving a rental car, you can make sure that you are covered in case of an accident, but also, that you don't overpay for coverage you already have.

Contact me to let me know what issues are important to you so I can address them in upcoming newsletters.

For 30 years, I have been representing clients in their legal matters, this quote describes my practice and how I handle each issue in your case.

"Every job is a self-portrait of the person who
did it. Autograph your work with excellence."

When advocating for my clients, I don't leave any stone unturned.  So, whether it's a car accident, slip and fall, wrongful death or other legal matter, give me a call or drop me a line.  Let me help you get the just compensation you deserve.

All the best,
