That's Right! I embrace the awe, wonder and excitement of life

The magic of life is all around us and inspiration comes in many forms. Yesterday I spent several hours driving in crowded and slow conditions and I found myself grateful to have the opportunity to consciously create the life of my dreams.

I was inspired by the artistic beauty of the clouds scattered across the sky, the flowers bloomed with vibrant colors on the mountainside, the ocean sparkled in all her mystery in the sunshine while a group of Pelicans soared low across the water, majestic in their pre-historic beauty...

And yet, I was surrounded by hundreds of cars, taillights blinking far into the distance. Police and medical workers were trying to hurry, sirens glaring in the breakdown lanes... pieces of broken cars lay crumpled by the side of the road.

The truth is that life offers every type of imaginable scenario that can be experienced all the time. We choose what we allow into our reality and we choose our responses. In those moments, I said a blessing for those involved in the accidents and created a sacred space within my car, making the conscious decision to be grateful for the beauty that was all around me.

The spiritual seeker has the opportunity to transform and shape shift their reality into one of empowerment, and that too can be used as a powerful part of one's unique path of transformation.

I keep a Turkey feather on my dashboard. While driving, my eyes often notice it and I'm reminded of all the blessings the earth contains. It moves me to honor our sacred mother and all she has to offer.

A fetish is any natural object that inspires you to align with the Universe. It's power is derived from the meanings you assign to it and the memories you associate with it. It is a symbol of the energy that inspires awakening within you and a tool that facilitates a shift in consciousness in any situation.

If you have a special rock, leaf, feather, crystal, flower or anything personal that inspires the sacred within you, try keeping it in an area where you need extra energy - your desk or workspace, the car, etc. It's important to remember that you are fully supported by the Universe in unexpected ways in every moment.

Today my intent is to consciously align myself with the light, love and laughter of the Universe and bring that joy to all situations. There are many, many reminders that can be used to inspire us to rise above any circumstance with a sense of enchantment and expectation.
