That's Right! I am willing to accept a miracle
That's Right! I am willing to see clearly
That's Right! I am willing to communicate effectively
That's Right! I am willing to love unconditionally
That's Right! I am willing to project the aura of peace
This morning I awoke to the gentle stillness of the mountains and allowed my chakras to open in receptivity to the healing that is found here. It seemed that my spirit needed a quiet pause in order to synchronize with the magic of life.
During my drive and throughout my trip, the animal which spoke to me the most was the Turkey Vulture... not the most beautiful up close, but certainly impressive in size, life purpose and ability to soar. I wondered what new things I might learn on this trip and so I turned to the messages presented by this remarkable and patient bird.
The flight of these powerful raptors is magnificent. They soar on the unseen thermals of air with grace and ease, reminding us that true power comes from what we do instead of how we appear.
Because of their "clean up" role, Vultures have an internal resistance to bacteria and botulism - this ability speaks to the need to foster our own energetic immunity to fight off the effects of imbalance or negativity. It's energy is a promise that the challenges of life are temporary and that a higher purpose is at work, even if we can't quite see how it will unfold.
The willingness to accept the thought that there is more to life than meets the eye can open the door for something new to emerge. Never underestimate the power of your own words. When challenges arise, allow yourself to take the time to see through them with compassion (for yourself and for others) instead of become mired within the drama. This does take practice, however, it is worth the effort.
When it is time to cleanse and renew yourself, take a lesson from vulture and soar above with ease and grace, clear vision and majesty. Find the stillness underneath the stories of the ego and honor your inner guidance.
Today my intent is to accept a miracle and to love unconditionally, allowing myself the opportunity to see things from a higher perspective and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve... |
