That's Right! Beauty is discovered through contrast

That's Right! In this moment I choose to be one with life

I awoke in the stillness tonight and stepped outside into the moonlight. The songs of night birds and crickets filled the air, each small voice a tribute to the present moment and I entered the enchantment of solitude, the healing of quiet spaces.

Pondering the beauty, I realized that each of the places I have lived has developed different aspects of my personality. The lessons I receive today are far different from those that came to me in the mountains, the high desert or suburbia.

Think of where you've chosen to live or visit at different periods in your life and consider how that may have added to the beauty of who you are:

• Beaches and Dunes - adaptability to unique challenges; doorways to the spirit realm opening, healing
• City and Suburban Environments - adaptability; finding our foundation; community and social issues
• Desert - ability to use the resources available; hardiness in struggles; purification; spiritual revelations
• Forests and Woodlands - magnifying of creative forces; primal feminine; growth free of controls and restrictions; the unconscious mind
• Mountains - discovering our own spiritual powers; overcoming obstacles for spiritual attainment; communion with spirits
• Oceans and Seas - the subconscious mind; new tides and depths of possibilities; birth
• Prairies and Plains - abundance; hopeful journey to new homes and possibilities; new winds and subtle changes
• Rivers and Streams - creation; the flow of time; shapeshifting; evolution and movement
• Valleys - fertility and new life; protection and safety; developing our role in society

Today my intent is to be thankful for the opportunity to have lived in such wildly different places. I'm grateful for the various  environments our beautiful planet has to offer, each with it's own unique frequency, healing ability and doorway of transformation.
