UM students, with student ID, will receive free admission to the Baltimore Museum of Industry on Saturday, Aug. 25. Join a guided tour, take an audio tour, or browse the pieces on your own. The museum explores Baltimore industry over the last century. Stop by the SMC Campus Center, suite 302, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to collect a ticket voucher. You must bring your UM Student ID.

UM students will receive free admission to Fort McHenry on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Tickets will be available in the SMC Campus Center Suite 302 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., you must bring your UM Student ID. Tickets must be collected from the Campus Center in advance. You will not be admitted to the Fort on August 26th without a ticket. The Fort is open rain or shine.

UM shuttle Grand Prix Alert

Grand Prix Modified Routes
#703 Federal Hill Route Detour
Monday, Aug. 27 through Sunday Sept. 2, the #703 Federal Hill route will be modified due to preparations for the 2nd annual Baltimore Grand Prix. During this time all the bus stops along Pratt St., Charles St. and Lombard St. will not be serviced by the #703 route.
NextBus arrival predictions are also expected to be affected by this substantial detour. Passengers are encouraged to refer to the schedule and the detour map for the #703 route.
#701 BioPark & #702 Mount Vernon
The #701 BioPark and #702 Mount Vernon routes will not have any service changes due to the race, however there is an increased likelihood of those routes running late due to the additional traffic that is expected along their routes.
UM shuttle will be closed on Monday September 3rd and regular service of the #703 route is expected to resume on Tuesday, September 4th.

There are over 40,000 graduate students in the Baltimore area and students from a variety of schools will be attending, including students from Johns Hopkins, Loyola, MICA, Morgan State, Notre Dame of Maryland University, Towson University, University of Baltimore, University of Maryland, Baltimore, UMBC and more.
