Luau Pool Party for Families

URecFit Pool  

 

Join us for our first kids' pool party with games, face painting and free swim lessons. Free to all university students, staff, faculty, and their families. All children are welcome. Activities are intended for ages 4 to 11. We have all the toys and floats- just bring yourself. Children in diapers must wear a waterproof swim diaper.

B&O Museum Tour

Free entry to the museum for all UM students.  Tickets will be available in the SMC Campus Center Suite 302 starting August 13, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., you must bring your UM Student ID. Tickets must be collected from the SMC Campus Center in advance. You will not be admitted to the museum on August 19th without a ticket. Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis.

This is an opportunity to experience the new TRX fitness anywhere equipment. 5th Floor Fitness Center in URecFit

 

Participants will perform as many flat bench press repetitions as possible (men at 60% and women at 40% of their body weight.) Immediately following the bench press, participants will perform a standing long jump. Max bench press repetitions and distance of the long jump will be added together to determine the total score. There will be a URecFit prize for top male/female student and top male/female non-student!

It's UM student night at the Orioles Ballpark! Pick up your free ticket from the SMC Campus Center Suite 302 starting Aug. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., you must bring your UM student ID. Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. In the event of rain tickets will be exchanged at the ballpark for admission to another O's game.

Baltimore Museum of Industry Tickets

UM students, with student ID, will receive free admission to the Baltimore Museum of Industry on Saturday, Aug. 25.  Join a guided tour, take an audio tour, or browse the pieces on your own. The museum explores Baltimore industry over the last century. Stop by the SMC Campus Center, suite 302, starting Aug. 13  from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to collect a ticket voucher. You must bring your UM Student ID.

Tour Fort McHenry

UM students will receive free admission to Fort McHenry on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Tickets will be available in the SMC Campus Center Suite 302 starting August 13, 2012 from 8:30am-4:00pm, you must bring your UM Student ID. Tickets must be collected from the Campus Center in advance. You will not be admitted to the Fort on August 26th without a ticket. The Fort is open rain or shine.
