The Wellness Hub supports a mother's choice to breastfeed her baby while pursuing her graduate or professional degree. There are currently two Lactation Centers at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

After the dinner, CSSA will perform. This year, UM Chinese students and scholars will bring a new, originally written Chinese drama to the audience along with other performances such as folk singing and Chinese lion dance.

Harry Potter Exhibit Arrives |
Health Sciences & Human Services Library
September 18 - November 5
Harry Potter is coming to UM! Visit "Harry Potter's World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine", an exhibit on display at the Health Sciences & Human Services Library. The exhibit uses the National Library of Medicine's History of Medicine collections to explore the world of Harry Potter, its roots in Renaissance science, and the ethical questions that affected not only the wizards in J.K. Rowling's books, but also the historical thinkers featured in the series. Exhibit panels present the works of 15th- and 16th-century scholars and explore their perceptions of natural philosophy, medicine, and magic. Real Food, Fast: Real Food Farm

Since its founding in October of 2009, Real Food Farm has created a community farm, educated youth, partnered with community organizations, and made real food more accessible to Northeast Baltimore. With its retrofitted newspaper delivery truck, it now travels through the city, making locally-grown fruits and vegetables available for purchase by all. Join us and Maya Kosok, Community Outreach Coordinator of Real Food Farm, to learn more about Real Food Farm's progress toward creating a just and sustainable food system for the Baltimore community.

ScD.
Learn how to use mindfulness techniques like meditation,
body scans, mindful eating, and gentle yoga to manage the stresses
of everyday life.

The Campus Health and Safety Survey is an anonymous online questionnaire interested in issues of health and safety of graduate students across the seven professional and graduate schools that make up the UM Campus.
A group of degree seeking, graduate level students with a valid university e-mail address will be randomly selected to participate in this anonymous online survey.
The survey will take approximately 10-30 minutes to complete. Your responses will help the university community better understand the nature of student's health and safety concerns across the UM campus.
