The UMB Book store is sponsoring a book drive to benefit George Washington Elementary School, one of our public school community partners supported by the UMB Outreach Council.  

When you visit the Bookstore and donate a book, you will receive 10% off one emblematic item at the time of the donation.  Age appropriate children's books are most desirable and you can even purchase children's books at the Bookstore for donation.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes are once again available to all UMB students. This program helps you enhance your overall health and quality of life through simple and effective stress reduction techniques taught by professional instructors, Deborah Rejent, DSW, MSSW, MA, and Catherine Kelleher, RN, MS, MPH, ScD. Learn how to use mindfulness techniques like meditation, body scans, mindful eating, and gentle yoga to manage the stresses of everyday life. Enrollment is limited and there is a $50 materials fee.

Class dates: 1/25, 2/01, 2/08, 2/15, 2/22, 03/01, 03/08 (make up in case of snow). Retreat: 03/05.

The Bon Appétit Café will be closed from Monday, 12/20 - Monday, 01/24 for the holiday break. During that time, the Bon Appétit To Go Café will close at 3pm. There is no service at all when the Campus Center is closed: December 23 - January 2.
