Greetings:
We are in an exciting era in our church's life right now. There is a developing momentum, a rising spirit, and a deepening commitment to Jesus Christ. We are in the midst of a 40 day Prayer Vigil, we are in the midst of a study/sermon series on being the church we are called to be, and we are looking toward what God might do in and through us in 2012. Come, worship with us this week. Catch the wave of excitement, and join in the fun! The staff and I would also like to thank you for the many words and signs of appreciation we have received from you. We were especially touched by the Pastor/Staff Appreciation Luncheon last Sunday. It means a lot to us to receive your appreciation, and we would like to say, "Thank you." Check out the information below... we hope we will see you soon. Have a great November! Pumpkin Patch and Trunk or Treat - Great Successes!
| |
Thanks For Your Help and Support...
We would like to thank you for your support of Journey Preschool's annual Pumpkin Patch, and our "Trunk or Treat" Festival this year.
Journey Preschool sold a record amount of pumpkins and saw a record number of people come through the gates this year at their Pumpkin Patch. Not only is this a great fundraiser for the preschool, but it is a great community outreach for our church. The money made at Pumpkin Patch is divided between scholarship help for the preschool, and equipment/school needs.
Our first annual "Trunk or Treat" was great as well. We have some wonderfully creative people in our church... but the greatest part of the night was the warmth and love that was shared with families and friends during the evening. Thanks to all for making this a success.
