Remember, Honor, Hope
We would like to thank you for your help and support of our 9/11 Event on Sunday. We had a great day, from our worship services to the Community Gathering in the evening. While we didn't have 1500 people, we did make a substantial mark in our community. EVERY person I talked to at the gathering enjoyed themselves, were impressed by the friendliness of our church, and thought it was a great event. That wouldn't have been possible without your efforts - THANK YOU!
Apart from what we did for the community, I believe we also accomplished something significant for our church. It was great to see all of you there, working, laughing, serving, and enjoying the day. We were a Body of Christ - and we had fun while we were doing it. At First United Methodist Church we are getting closer and closer to being the church we can be. I was so proud of our church and our witness - once again, THANK YOU!
Finally, this is just the beginning... we will continue to work to be a positive influence in our community and world. We will need your help to reach our goals... Sunday showed that we can do that, and do it well.
I hope that you had a positive experience on Sunday and feel good about what you accomplished. Remember, with God - ALL THINGS are possible.
