Please read below for information about our Christmas week services.  We hope to see you there!  If you are traveling over the holidays we pray for your safe return.

Christmas Caroling Party

Would you like to share some Christmas joy and have a good time while you're at it?  Then join us on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 5:30 PM.  We will be meeting in the Raimond Christian Center, and then sending groups out to carol to some of our homebound and ill members.

Following the caroling, we'll meet back up at the church for some hot chocolate, cookies, and fellowship.  We hope you will join us for this event.  It will be a ministry to those in need, and it is a great tradition for our church family.
Christmas Eve Services

We hope you will be able to join us on Christmas Eve for our Candlelight Services.  This year we will have 3 services for you to choose from... 5:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 11:00 PM.  The 5:30 and 7:00 services will be identical, the 11:00 will be similar, with a few modifications.

Invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers.  The service will be beautiful, inspiring, and enjoyable for all.  Let's share the gift of Christ with our community this year... hope to see you there.
Help Us Say "Thank You"
To Our Fantastic FUMC Staff!

Our Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) would like to invite you to give the gift of gratitude this season to our staff members.  Beginning Sunday, December 12, there will be boxes in the Welcome Center for each of our staff - they do so much to serve us.  If you would like to bring a card or some other type of gift, you can leave them in the boxes.  We will distribute these to the staff following the Christmas Eve services.  Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated.

Children's Christmas Musical

Our J.A.M. kids did an AWESOME job on their musical last night.  Thanks to all who came and supported them - we hope you were blessed by the evening as well.

We also want to thank all of our J.A.M. volunteers who make this program possible.  We'll be starting up again on January 12 so we hope to see you then!

Great job kids!

For God so loved the world...John 3:16-17

"All over the world people celebrate Christmas! Whether you live in China, Argentina, Iraq, Russia or the United States, the story of Jesus' birth is one of the most important stories ever told.  God made every person.  All of us are special to God.  So no matter who you are or where you're from, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas."

(Christmas Around the World" by Scott and Andrea Vander Ploeg)

On Thursday, December 16th our JPS children presented "Christmas Around the World" pageant for their families and friends during the noon hour in the RCC gymnasium.  The JPS staff is very proud of all our children who made the program possible. Our kids did a wonderful job.

We wish to express a very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones; we look forward to returning from our Christmas break on December 27 (JPS will be closed December 20-24 and December 31).
