FIRE!...Is Your Association Prepared?
In the past couple months, we have been reminded just how destructive a fire can be to a home, family and an HOA.
I would like to take this oppurtunity to stress the importance of insurance, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and an escape plan.
A smoke detector could have given everyone enough warning to not only get out of their home safely, but potentialy put the fire out sooner. Turning a large loss into a small fire, that effected 1 unit, and not 16.
I urge every Property Manager and Board member to stress to their home owners the importance of protecting not only their homes, families and belongings, but that of their neighbors as well.

Don Roberts a Senior Estimator with ASR Construction has a seat after being honored.

On January 19th 2011 our very own Don Roberts received a Certificate of Valor from the Los Angeles Fire Department at the 2011 Valor Awards Banquet.
On the morning of October 24th, 2007, Don Roberts and Kirk Prouse both with ASR Construction were driving along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, when a horrific accident happened right in front of them.
Don was honored for helping in the rescue of Firefighter Specialist David Wise who was unconscious and trapped behind the wheel of his SUV
