Appeal to our friends

Friends:

Last year, a delegation of 24 C.A.L.L. members traveled to the Vatican for a series of meetings with the presidents of seven Pontifical Councils. The result of these meetings was the idea that C.A.L.L. write a formal response to Pope Benedict XVI's encyclical, Caritas in Veritate - Charity in Truth. After much work on this special project, we are proud to say that we have completed a first edition of the response and are working to complete a special commemorative edition to be presented to Pope Benedict and cardinal leaders of several Pontifical Councils later this month.

We respectfully ask for your consideration of a gift to C.A.L.L. for the purpose of underwriting this effort. Any amount will be helpful and most welcome.

In gratitude for your assistance with the completion of this special project, sponsors will be acknowledged during the screen credits of a special documentary, capturing the process of making C.A.L.L.'s Response in Faith Special Edition a tangible effort. Sponsors of $500 or more will also be individually recognized within the documentary. In addition, all contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the second edition of "Caritas in Veritate - Charity in Truth: Our Response in Faith" when published.

We thank you for your help and support in making this special effort a reality for C.A.L.L. and we look forward to announcing the completion of our response to Pope Benedict XVI.

Sincerely,

Robert Aguirre

President & CEO
