DREAM Act
CALL TO ACTION

The DREAM Act is on the table and we are making this CALL TO ACTION in hopes of helping thousands of young people to realize the American DREAM.

The Act will allow students who are immigrants to achieve conditional legal status provided they arrived here before reaching the age of 16, have been in the U.S. for at least five years, have graduated from high school here, passed a background check, and have completed two years of college or military service. It then puts them on a track to earn their citizenship. What a great thing this is for them and for our country!

"Our elected officials can provide a remedy for a very vulnerable group of immigrants - young persons who entered the United States with their parents years ago. Their futures are limited because of their undocumented status, yet they have so much to give to our communities and nation."

Coadjutor Archbishop of Los Angeles

Thank you for taking action.

With every best wish for a blessed Advent Season,
