With the exception of adding a couple of photos for Joanna's piece, what do you think of this edition?
Home of the Month - Elder's Ranch

Any time a care home has a resident turning 100, it calls for a celebration. When a care home has two residents in the same month reaching centenarian status, it shouts PARTY time! That's just what happened at Joanna Mitchell's Elder's Ranch in December. As written in the Arizona Republic article , it's either in the water, or the exceptional living environment they enjoy at Elder's Ranch. Joanna Mitchell (AALHA's President-elect) has been in the geriatric care business since before licensing of Arizona care homes existed. Now that's a lot of care!

Elder's Ranch is located within easy access of SR51 and the 101 in Phoenix. Citrus trees line the 2.5 acres of horse property, and Joanna's residents love her beautiful rose garden. Elder's Ranch residents spend time watching the horses from their large picture windows which overlook the pasture area.
