Tip of the Month

Have blood on carpets, fabrics or other surfaces?  Saturate it with a little Hydrogen Peroxide and blot with an absorbent cloth.  Several applications may be required, but even dried blood will eventually yield to this process on most surfaces.

July Meeting Recap
The July Monthly Forum was held at Pueblo Norte, Scottsdale on Wednesday, July 28th.  We had about 30 people in attendance including several guests.

One of the more important announcements was that the board has decided anyone wishing to join after April 1 of any year will have the dues prorated.  Currently, that means that a home would pay at a rate of $21.00 per month, and an associate, $30.00, from the month joining until the end of the year.

The education section was on wound care and was presented by Carol Abbott, a clinical account manager for KCI and a registered nurse.  KCI is a company that is active in providing healing solutions, including KCI Vacuum Assisted ClosureŽ as well as medicines and theraputic systems to help patients heal.  There is much more information on the website at KCI1.com.
AALHA's Annual Golf Tournament

AALHA will hold it's annual "Teein' it up for Seniors"Golf Logo
