Thank you for your support in 2010! |
2010 ended on a high note with the defeat of the DREAM Act! Lots of bad bills passed during the lame duck session, but thanks to your exceptional efforts, DREAM Act wasn't one of them!
Out with the old! As Roy Beck of Numbers USA points out in this article, it should be a very happy new year since we "un-elected" 61 pro-amnesty Congressmen! |
2011 is off to a great start! |

In with the new!
IFIRE State Director, Greg Serbon, led the way with the first letter to the editor of 2011.
States are lining up to pass Arizona-style immigration enforcement bills and Indiana will join them.
It's time to deliver this baby! The Tea Party has the hot water boiling and "Dr. Delph" has the delivery room prepped with a new immigration enforcement bill. We've pushed and pushed for years but Speaker Bauer would not let this legislation see the light of day. Now that the Great Impediment (Bauer) has been removed, we have to beat back the Chamber of Commerce, ethnic special interest groups and the RINOs. Together, we can do it!

Closing note |
The next few months, while the General Assembly is in session, will be hectic. We need everyone's best effort if we are to defeat the bigger, richer forces arrayed against us. We must take full advantage of free resources like Letters to the Editor, phone calls, emails and personal visits to our legislators. IFIRE tries to make it easy for you to do so. Many groups keep you informed about federal legislation but IFIRE also keeps you abreast of state legislation. IFIRE is run by volunteers who donate their time and money to keep this organization going. We operate on a shoestring but we do have expenses. It costs about $50 per month for our website, Constant Contact and Post Office Box. We are happy if we can just meet those expenses. Can you help us with a small donation? If so, visit this link for more information: http://www.ifire.org/info/contribute.html If not, thank you for all the other ways in which you help us! We're glad you're on our team!
